Sophmore Year

I can't believe Sophmore year is already over.

I remember the first day of high school like it was yesterday. The whole day all I could think about was how stupid it was that I had to go to school instead of be with Minyoung. After school was finally over 11 of us squished into Sylvia's 5 passenger car and went to Wendy's with Minyoung.

Sophmore year has been the hardest year of school for me so far. It didn't help that the first day of school was spent crying over my best friend moving across the country.
I had only known Minyoung for two years but I don't think I have ever been so close to someone before. We laughed and cried together. We told each other all of our problems. She would help me sort through my problems and feelings. So many memories were made in those two sort years that I will never forget. I love that even though she lives 2,188 miles away I am still so close with her.

I've had some exciting adventures this year for sure!

My first year going to General Conference!

I got my license and went on my first date!

Football games! Region Champs!

I got my Young Woman's medallion and Patriarchal Blessing!

I read the Hunger Games series and saw Catching Fire!

We went to state in basketball!!

We were on TV!!!!

Our bridge got first and our car got second in physics! We also popped pop corn in physics! Physics was my favorite class this year because of the people who were in my class!!

I did archery for the first time! (I'm basically Katniss now)

I got to go to the first Woman's Conference and was in the Ensign with Leilani and Julia!

Someone sent me a rose with the sweetest note on Valentines day! (I've always wanted to get a rose from someone anonymous!)

I helped Julia get ready for prom!!

My cute niece Gemma turned 2 and I'm getting a nephew in July!!

Our bus broke down at the golf course during life activities so we missed half of second period!

I got my first job!!!!

I made Student Council and Yearbook Staff for next year!!
We went to kneaders during Life Activities!

Then again in Study Hall!

I became best friends with these girls!! This year would not have been the same without them!

We said goodbye to Mr. Clinton! I never had him as a teacher but he was my favorite! I remember the first couple months of school he scared us so bad but I'm gonna miss him and all of his corny jokes!

A lot can happen in a year. This isn't even half of all the fun times I've had.

I'm so grateful for all of the new friends I have made and for all the memories and experiences that I will never forget.
